Starting Teardown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It finally stopped raining, hurrah. time to strip the interior &#8211; hopefully no rust<\/p>\n<p>started at the rear (thats where I like it, lololol) don&#8217;t really know why there is wood in the trunk but whatever, also something that looks like a giant ground cable<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6316.jpg\"><br \/>\nrear carpet removed and rear seats folded forward, only 2 clips hold the rear seats in!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6317.jpg\"><br \/>\nall the seats out of the car<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6318.jpg\"><br \/>\nthats some damn dirty carpet<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6319.jpg\"><br \/>\ncarpet pulled out, that glue is AMAZINGLY strong<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6321.jpg\"><br \/>\nNO RUST, its just dirt down there, absolutely NO rust on any of the floor panels<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6323.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6324.jpg\"><br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know how the fuck that boot is attached but that shit wasn&#8217;t moving, I was able to tear the carpet AND the sound deadening underneath it but wasn&#8217;t able to pry that thing off<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6325.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>seats, not looking so good after so many old man miles<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6327.jpg\"><br \/>\ngoatse burn of some kind in the rear seats, the rear seat still looks good<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6330.jpg\"><br \/>\nstarted to rain so I put the tools and ish inside and put the drivers seat back in<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6332.jpg\"><br \/>\nI parked it at a slightly odd angle, some folks walking buy gave me some crazy looks<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tongboy.com\/images\/golf\/IMG_6333.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>tomorrow i&#8217;m hoping to get the dash out and if the weather doesn&#8217;t poop on me most if not all of the engine<\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;m trying to decide on color &#8211;
